Objective: Boost visibility of BYD’s vehicle lineup, increase booth foot traffic, and create opportunities for dealer sales teams to interact with potential customers.
Challenges
BYD France had a 500m² booth showcasing five vehicle models (Seal, Seal U, Atto 3, Dolphin, Sealion) and premium brand YANG WANG’s U8. With record attendance at the Paris Motor Show, BYD needed a standout activation to rise above the competition and attract consistent visitor engagement.
Our Approach
- Artistic Direction & Storytelling: Developed a series of mini dance showcases (3–5 minutes each) aligned with each vehicle’s identity, ensuring the presentations flowed seamlessly.
- Diverse Dance Styles: Selected dancers specialized in breaking, hip-hop, popping, krump, afrobeats, amapiano, dancehall, and more, highlighting the cars with fresh, energetic performances.
- Costuming & Choreography: Created customized costumes and music mixes that tied into each vehicle’s dedicated color and brand identity.
- Social Media & PR: Provided videographers, photographers, community managers, and PR support to document the excitement and amplify reach online.
Outcomes
- Massive Crowd Attraction: Visitors flocked to the booth each time the showcase music started, filming the performances and sharing them on social media.
